Scorpion Taekwondo clubs are professionally run and offer high quality taekwondo tuition and all of our instructors are Black Belts and have been CRB checked and are registered with the BTCB the National governing body for WTF Taekwondo in the UK. Scorpion taekwondo run several clubs throughout England and Scotland and we are one of the few clubs who's members have represented Great Britain at the Olympics, World Taekwondo Championships, European Championships, Commonwealth Championships, Taekwondo World Cup and World Student Games, and at club level, we have been the winners of the British National Championships (Junior and Senior A class) for the past three years! (2007/2008 & 2009) We were also Overall Team Champions 2007 & 2008! As well as providing training from beginner level through to Olympic standard, we also offer a fully stocked shop, video analysis room, male and female changing with showers, permanent Olympic standard flooring and most importantly off all, a comfortable viewing area for parents with hot and cold drinks available. Please don't be put off by our achievements as everyone has to start somewhere and in no time at all, you get to know all the members of the club and feel 100% at home. ......................................................................................................................................................

Scorpion Taekwondo also offer private lessons on a one to one basis, so whether you are looking to take lessons in WTF competition training, self-defence or traditional taekwondo we have the classes available to suit you.

Taekwondo Scorpion Cup, 8th August 2010, English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

Taekwondo Austrian Open, 5th - 6th June 2010, Innsbruck, Austria.
Scorpion Taekwondo took a team of 7 players to this years Austrian Open held in Innsbruck. The Championship an A-Class International on the ETU calendar had over 900 competitors from 35 Countires. Scorpions did an amazing job winning 1 Gold medal & 1 Bronze medal from the 7 players.
The competition was for Cadets, juniors and seniors with cadets using the Adidas electronic protectors and junior and seniors using the LaJust electronic protectors - read the full story here>>>
Taekwondo Belgian Open, 10th - 11th April 2010, Herentals, Belgium
Scorpion Taekwondo took a team of four to this year's Belgian Open held in Herentals, Belgium.
The event saw 712 competitors from all over the World taking part over the two day tournament, however, on this occasion, the competition was not on electronic scoring and was down to the judges - read the full story here>>>
Taekwondo Dutch Open, 20th - 21st March 2010, Eindhoven, Holland.
Scorpion Taekwondo took a team of 3 to this years Dutch Open held in Eindhoven, Holland. 955 competitors took part from across Europe, North & South America, Africa & Asia. The Championships also used the Daedo TK Strike Electronic scoring system, the same system that will be used at this years Senior European Championships in St. Peterburg, Russia.

Taekwondo German Open, 13th - 14th March 2010, Hamburg, Germany.
Scorpion Taekwondo took a team of only 2 to this years German Open held in Hamburg. The event saw teams from all over the World taking part from Europe, Asia, North America, South America & Africa. The event had over 700 competitors with 8 competition areas being used over the two day competition. The seniors also competed on the LaJust Scoring system, the same system used at the British International last year. - Read the full story here>>>

BTCB British National Taekwondo Championships, 30th - 31st January 2010, Manchester.
The British National Championships were held on the 30th/31st January 2010 in Manchester at the regional Tennis Centre.
Scorpions had a healthy 30 players entered into the event although this was well down on last years numbers due to injuries and the children's
International coming up a week later.
